Safety for Families

A practical guide to the main safety tools in OneVib Junior.

Effective July 5, 2026
1

Parent-managed by design

Child profiles, friend approvals, chat access, rewards, subscriptions, family places, device safety tools, and support requests are managed through the parent account.

2

Child identity

Children use usernames and avatars in child-facing areas. Parents should avoid using a child's full legal name as a public username.

3

Friends and chat

Friend features are designed around parent approval and child safety. Parents can manage friends, disable chat where available, and contact support if a message or connection feels unsafe.

4

Family Locator

Family Locator can show linked child devices, safe places, battery level, check-ins, and live sessions when permissions are allowed. It is a family safety feature, not a public tracking feature.

5

Finding a child's phone

The loud alarm and map tools can help families find a misplaced linked child device. Device permissions, battery, network connection, and operating-system restrictions can affect availability.

6

Notifications

Notifications may alert parents or children about check-ins, low battery, messages, friend activity, rewards, birthdays, safety events, or service updates depending on settings and device permissions.

7

Learning and rewards

Rewards are designed to motivate learning. Parents remain responsible for approving real-world rewards and setting healthy routines around screen time and practice.

8

Emergency situations

OneVib Junior is not an emergency service. If a child may be in danger, contact local emergency services immediately.

9

Support and reporting

For bullying, unsafe contact, suspicious activity, account misuse, or child safety concerns, preserve relevant details and contact support@onevib.com.
