Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information OneVib Junior uses and why.

Effective July 5, 2026
1

Who controls the family account

OneVib Junior is built around a parent-managed family account. Parents create and manage child profiles, privacy settings, access, friend approvals, safety settings, rewards, and support requests.

2

Parent information

We may process the parent name, email address, phone number, address or region details, selected language, verification status, subscription status, notification settings, device sessions, support messages, and account safety records.

3

Child profile information

We may process child profile details such as full name inside the family account, username, birth date or age-related settings, grade, curriculum region, avatar, learning progress, points, rewards, friend connections, chat settings, birthday wishes, and account status.

4

Learning and reward activity

We use answers, scores, topics practised, streaks, badges, certificates, OV Coin activity, room participation, competition activity, and reward choices to provide progress tracking, motivation, fair play, and parent visibility.

5

Chat and social safety

Messages, friend requests, friend codes, reports, and moderation signals may be stored so approved friends can communicate safely, parents can manage controls, and safety issues can be reviewed.

6

Location and device safety

When Family Locator is enabled and permissions are allowed, linked devices may send location, accuracy, battery level, device status, check-in responses, safe-zone activity, and alarm status. Location is shown inside the family account and is not public.

7

Notifications

We may send account, safety, chat, check-in, battery, reward, birthday, learning, and service notifications where enabled or required for the feature. Parents can manage available notification settings in the app or device settings.

8

Why we use information

We use information to operate accounts, provide learning and safety features, verify parents, protect children, prevent abuse, send notifications, provide support, process payments where available, improve the service, and meet legal obligations.

9

Service providers

We use trusted service providers for hosting, email, SMS, payment processing, maps or address support, push notifications, analytics, security, and customer support. Payment details are processed by the payment provider, not stored as full card details by OneVib Junior.

10

Data sharing

We do not sell child personal information. We share information only as needed to run the service, follow parent settings, use service providers, comply with law, protect users, respond to support requests, or complete parent-approved reward or payment actions.

11

Retention and deletion

We keep information while the family account is active and as needed for safety, support, disputes, fraud prevention, accounting, legal duties, and parent requests. User-requested deletion may remain recoverable for 30 days where the app shows that recovery period. After that, data is deleted, anonymised, or retained only where legally required.

12

Parent choices and rights

Parents can update family information, manage child profiles, disable features, remove friends, control chat where available, manage available subscriptions, delete accounts where supported, and contact support for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or export requests where applicable law allows.

13

Children's privacy

Children should not share addresses, phone numbers, passwords, school schedules, payment details, private photos, or live location in chat. Parents should help children understand safe and respectful use.

14

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect accounts and child information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so families should protect passwords and report suspicious activity.

15

Contact

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@onevib.com from the parent account email where possible.
